Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at Mount Meru Hotel was pleasant with beautiful views of Mount Meru and a lovely garden area. The staff were attentive, which made our experience more enjoyable. However, the breakfast buffet needs significant improvement to keep guests satisfied over longer stays. The rooms could use brighter lighting as well.
Mt Meru is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff, but I was disappointed by the 15,000 shilling charge just to sit by the pool area, which I found unfair. The accommodations are generally good but are in need of some refurbishment. Overall, it's a decent place to stay if you plan on exploring the local area, but the extra pool fee left a sour taste in my mouth.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, tucked away from the main road, offering a peaceful environment and beautiful garden views. The breakfast spread was impressive, and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs with great attention. However, I encountered a few minor issues with staff training, which affected the service slightly.
This hotel offers a pleasant and modern environment, perfect for starting or ending a trip to Tanzania. The spacious grounds provide a sense of security, and the breakfast is quite impressive. However, the service can be hit or miss, especially in the restaurant, which may detract from the overall experience. Still, the clean and comfortable rooms with beautiful views are a notable plus.
I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The early check-in was much appreciated after my long journey, and the view from my room was simply breathtaking. Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of options, although dinner was a bit on the pricey side. Overall, I enjoyed the amenities, especially the spa for some post-travel relaxation, but I wished there could have been a bit more friendliness in the service.
My stay at Mount Meru was truly delightful, with stunning views of the mountain and a lovely garden ambiance. The rooms were nicely kept, although the lighting could use some improvement, especially for makeup sessions. The service was commendable, especially with the front desk staff going above and beyond, but some service aspects could be enhanced. Overall, a wonderful place for both relaxation and business, with a charming atmosphere and decent dining options.
I was really looking forward to my stay at Mount Meru Hotel, but it didn't meet my expectations. While the hotel is visually stunning and has beautiful grounds, the service left much to be desired. The food quality was mediocre and the dining experience was chaotic, although I did appreciate the kindness of the bar staff. Overall, I was disappointed, especially considering it’s marketed as a five-star property.
